Has stopped giving a sleep score it used to work fine does record my sleep but that's all

I'm glad to help you with the missing sleep score.
If you received a sleep log, but it only includes your sleep pattern, you won't receive slee score. You need to receive sleep stages in order to get a sleep score.
What kind of sleep record did you receive?
If you did receive sleep stages but you still don't see a sleep score, note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear.
If you have waited enough, update the Fitbit app to the latest version. For instructions, refer to How do I use the Fitbit app?

I have installed the app on my tablet and taken it off my phone I'll see
how that goes

reboot phone.
restart watch.
Then, if android, go to settings/apps/fitbit and clear cache and data (note - this will reset anything you have changed in the fitbit app.)
start fitbit and log in and then sync. (you may have to re-pair bluetooth.)
