Hi,
I just got the Fitbit Charge 6 2 days ago, and so far I am glad for it.
One thing that I probably got wrong is the caloriecounter.
Yesterday I walked 10.000 steps divided in 2 longer walks, and then just the usual everyday walking. The 2 longer walks I tracked as exercises. The exercises were tracked as having burned 740 calories. It was a total of 8 km's walked. I am 52 years old, 180 cm high and weigh 90 kg (some fat, quite muscular)
When 24 hours had passed it said I had burned 2664 calories in total.
2664 - 740 = 1924 calories for the rest of the day minus the exercises.
My BMR should be around 1750 calories per day, without doing anything at all, just breathing. So according to this I burned 170 calories for the rest of the day, even though I am cooking, cleaning, working (officework, but still more than breathing), walking more than the 2 exercises tracked and making other stuff. I am almost always doing something.
Have I missed something ? It seems low to me
Thank you for helping
