It is not logical that some bank's card and transit pass are all supported in Android Phone / Wear OS Smartwatch but not in Fitbit device. Fitbit should fix this issue ASAP

@kkchan1991 I'm sorry, but that's not how this works. Google Pay on a Fitbit is a different payment system than Google Pay on your phone. Individual banks make the decision to participate in Google Pay on your Fitbit, just like individual banks decide to participate in Fitbit Pay on older devices. If your bank doesn't participate, you should urge your bank to do so. It's up to your bank, not Fitbit.

Ok then why does my bank say it's not on their end. This is blatant false advertising then and the company Fitbit needs to take responsibility of this is the case here. I bought this device saying it was it worked with Google Wallet when that clearly is not the case at all. If what you're stating is actually true, then I will be having to contact the BBB as this is clear violation of the advertisement Fitbit claims otherwise. It's very shady and misleading to say the least that you advertise that it works with Google Wallet but that is actually only works with some bank with FitBit using Google wallet. That is what I call snake oil and false advertising. For shame on this company for using such shady advertising practices here.

@LZeeW the problem is that they share the name of the same product. This is (as you can see reading many complaints) very misleading. I've been using Google Wallet on Android and if I see the Google Wallet feature on the Fitbit watch I expect... well... Google Wallet 🤷

So I have confirmed with my bank and they support FitBit and Google Wallet and Google Pay. So Fitbit this is 100% on your end! So support here is lying or there a bug, ether case it's broken. You can't advertise a feature that doesn't work.

@Triletics I understand where you are coming from. The difference is noted in Fitbit's Contactless payment Help article. I'm not a Fitbit employee (and I don't use contactless payment from my Fitbit) and am just the messenger here. Any feedback that you have for Fitbit is best posted in the Product Feedback forum.
@MrGreen315 If your bank and card type (Mastercard/VISA) are on the Google Wallet Bank List, and you can't add your card, then the moderators suggest that you contact your bank.

@LZeeW no worries, I know you're not an employee. Just having a conversation, that's all 🙂 By the way, did you know that Google Wallet for WearOS (so Pixel Watch included) supports Google Wallet with the same list of banks/cards as Android GW? This even more makes using GW as the name of the wallet on Fitbit misleading. Most users don't start buying wearables from visiting help articles either so the difference should be clarified right on the box (if Fitbit/Google wants to keep the "Google Wallet" label on Fitbit). I checked the Charge 6 box - nothing. Product Feedback from my experience is a waste of time (tried a few times in the past when it was "Feature Suggestions" and Fitbit always edited my posts to something not even remotely relevant) 🙂

I have contacted my bank. I even talked to their tech support and they have said multiple times that everything is working on their end and they support FitBit Google Pay and Google Wallet. So again this is not on my banks as they already allow payments through Fitbit. They can't fix something that is not broken on their end. This is a Fitbit problem.
