Hello! My son recently upgraded to an adult account on Fitbit. However, when we bought him his Fitbit Charge 6, we discovered we could not pair the watch to his account. He has to switch to a Google account to connect the watch. We only upgraded a few minutes ago and now it says we have to wait 7 days until we can connect the watch to his phone. He would like to use the watch this weekend. Any suggestions? I will call customer support

Having the same issue with a Charge 6 I just purchased for my mother. I spoke with customer support and they told me to create a whole new account (and lose all previous data) or wait 7 days which doesn't work because she leaves the country in 2 days and won't be able to set it up herself. They have "escalated it" but I'm not holding my breath. Blows my mind that they aren't given the tools to bypass things like this. Did you get yours resolved?

Sadly I did not. I had to create a new account under a new google email. This is a bummer because all my old data has been deleted.
