My phone is not pared. I double checked this. And I got 30 steps just rolling in the bed in the morning:)
I put my height and weight and follow instructions on how to wear Charge6. I’m so disappointed. I was looking for a sport band to track my steps and sleeps. And Charge6 is awful for step count. Google, how much have you paid for all reviews advertising Fitbit for fitness???? I’m returning it. It doesn’t do the simplest thing - step count

Hello @Sunny_hair
Wrist worn fitness trackers, including Fitbits, use arm movement for tracking steps. This is why users who push carts, wheelchairs, & baby carriages often see a lower step count. It also works in reverse. My Fitbit will count steps when I'm doing dishes or folding laundry. Since your Charge 6 tracked 30 steps while you were in bed, that would indicate to me that you had enough arm movement for your device to count it as steps.
This article helps explain How does my Fitbit calculate my daily activity (<-- click link), including how the device counts steps.
