Re: Unable to complete Charge 6 set up process

I have received a charge 6 yesterday after owning multiple charge 4. none of the above tips has helped. watch is stuck on download  fitbit app screen. 

app is downloaded, uninstalled, downloaded again. Changed from using my original email to gmail, have tried everything and not working. want to send it back now as this was a shocking customer experience and such a waste of my time.

Hi @Maryellen2610 I'm assuming that you chose the login with Google, and not simply changed you login to you Google email address 

You say that it isn't working. At what step of the process does the failure occur? Do you get a any error messages? What would they be? 

  • What OS is the phone Android or iOS 
  • If Android, the phone should detect the Charge 6 and prompt to setup. 
  • If the Charge 6 shows on the phones BT, please remove it. 
  • Does the fitbit app find the Charge 6? 
  • Do you get a code to verify? 
  • What then happens?

Tried all this, get a pairing code and then says can't connectand us
Bluetooth on. Wasted a day on this . Fitbit chat couldn't help. It's
going back
