So I updated my Charge 6 this morning (on Android) now the repeating alarms are showing grey with a cross and the only way I can have them on is to have a 1 time alarm any ideas?
I've restarted the watch uninstalled the app on my phone and check DND and sleep mode and neither are on.

Hi @CJMcLEAN,
Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you adjust your alarms.
If you have made any changes to your alarm that are not taking effect, try deleting this alarm and creating a new one. I suggest that you follow the instructions in our help article How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device? > How do I delete or turn off alarms on my Fitbit device? & How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device? > How do I set an alarm on my Fitbit device?

I've deleted and reset a number of times and even reset the watch.
I can set alarms with no repeat and I can turn them on (yellow) or off (red) but if I then have that on any repeat it becomes grey.

I got exactly the same problem since the update, but only with one of my alarms. What does the grey cross indicate? Deleting the alarm and making a new one doesn't change anything, the new alarm will be grey again once I make it repeating!
Please fix this bug.

PS Alarm seems to work anyway. Now the alarm for Tuesdays post list grey -- does this simply show the next active alarm in grey?!
If yes, it's not consistent, because it's only grey for recurring alarms.

I find it interesting that the moderator doesn’t know what it means? Is there anyone at Fitbit that knows why this was introduced?

As you suggested, I deleted all my old alarms and created new ones. All the repeating alarms turned into gray alarm clocks w/ Xs on them. Only one-time alarms are yellow and working. Please provide new guidance; thanks!

Experiencing same issue on inspire 3 that began day watch updated with latest firmware. Had to change all alarms to one time only. Please report this up the line so they can issue a fix.

Hello everybody! Thank you for your responses.
This is definitely not how the alarm clock on your Charge 6 should work. Thank you for trying the suggested troubleshooting.
For those who are experiencing this discrepancy with the recurrent alarms, please try to clear your user data. To do so:
- Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
- On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data

I have had exactly the same. Also got a new phone so didn't know if it was that . Did all the restarts and still no improvements.

Thanks but will this delete all our data then?

Sorry but the above advice does not work at all. Cleared user data and then even un-installed and reinstalled the app and did the whole thing all over again like it was a new fitbit. Made zero difference to the alarm icon. Please fix this bug asap. Thanks

I have also been having issues with the app hanging at the end of syncing? Progress bar gets almost to the end and then hangs. Once again, this started after the update, anyone else seeing this?

Not only did this wipe my Fitbit and didn’t fix the problem - I still can’t use recurring alarms, they’re grey - now I can’t get an app notifications either. ETA - app notifications came back after about 45 minutes.

This is really frustrating. Thanks for jumping through these ridiculous hoops so the rest of us do not.
