I got a Charge 6 upgrade for Christmas and have been using it for a few weeks. Until now, I had been using the Charge 5 for a year, and my resting heart rate was high 50s a couple days before Christmas.
I switched to the Charge 6 on the 28th. I took about a week and a half off of my normal exercise routine. Normally, when I take rest time off, my resting heart rate drops a little for a few days as it recovers and then starts to go back up before I start my routine again. I've been back on my normal exercise routine for the last week and my resting heart rate is about 10 bpm higher than my usual resting rate and still climbing.
I read that the Charge 6 is supposed to have a more accurate heart rate detection sensor/algorithm, so I can accept that my resting heart rate isn't as good as I thought it was on the Charge 5. But I am curious if anyone else has noticed discrepancies since their switch to the Charge 6?

My heart rate has been fine. Maybe you might have a faulty one. Reach out to Fitbit and if the problem persists, request a replacement. Hope that helps

Looking at the rest of the comments in the community, it would appear there is a larger issue at foot.
