Seeing old Fitbit app on Charge 6

My Charge 5 died, so I got a Charge 6, set it up, and I'm seeing the old fitbit app from last year (2023). I'd gotten used to the new app and can't imagine they abruptly changed it back. Any idea what's going on?

I have a major problem with the new app layout.

The sync data causes all dates not to show correctly - all dates displayed as current date data 😩.

Is very shocking that the display is incorrect! and nothing can be done about it. 

the. mysteriously after some time, say an hour(?), the data on the new app is ok. huh?!

and lots of the data somehow is not syncing correctly despite updating the ios to latest and ensure fitbit charge 6 firmware is latest.

also, accessing the information in app is very confusing. Can’t find the PDF reports on ecg/afd and the weekly data doesn’t seemed to display correctly-can’t interpret the information displayed. 

goole just destroying this product best features of simplicity and giving to contenders like garmin and polar. (really don’t need google watch sophistication, just fitbit simplicity sells!)

 

so regret getting replacement on latest charge 6 and the updated fitbit app.
