Sleep added to wrong day

I went to sleep in my usual sleep window (8-8, as I have a three month old). I woke up for a short bit before midnight, but my Fitbit app is counting that 2.5hr sleep as a nap for the previous day, rather than adding it to the night. I'm finding this difficult as I can't now see what my whole sleep was as a whole. How do I get my new Fitbit to show the right sleep for the right day? I definitely didn't sleep 9h+ yesterday night with a 3-month baby on my hands 😅

Sleep monitoring is the reason I have a Fitbit, so this feature is important to me. If it's not possible to fix now, it should be fixed in a future release.

Sometimes when people get up during the night, sleep gets broken into 2 segments, sometimes not.  I suppose it depends on how long awake and how active.  And in your case, sleep is credited to the day you woke up.  There is no system adjustment you can make for, but if it is worth the trouble for you, you can edit the results to join the sleep together.  There are 3 vertical dots at top right of Sleep page.  Tap these to get to Edit and Delete options.  First you would want to note the exact starting time of your "nap" (8:12PM); then delete that sleep session from yesterday.  Then go to Today's sleep. Edit the sleep session;  change the beginning time to yesterday 8:12 PM.  And you should have one longer sleep session credited to today.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
