Fitbit Charge 6 vibrates when I get a message with Samsung message on my phone. I switched to the Google message app and I get a very quick pop-up message but no vibration. I have followed every direction I can find and I am doing everything I should in notifications both on the phone and fitbit device. The phone vibrates but not the fitbit. My fitbit vibrates and lights up for a phone call.

I haven't noticed this, and outside of trying a restart, I'm at a loss.

I'm having the same problem you had. I recently had to switch from the Verizon Message+ app to Google Messages, and once I switched texting apps, I no longer get text notifications on my Fitbit. I tried restarting my Fitbit already, but have had no luck with it wanting to notify me when I get a text. I find it odd that it won't work with the Google Messages app like it did with the Message+ app because Google owns Fitbit, so if anything, I should be getting notifications now. I'm beyond frustrated and could use some guidance if you have any. Thanks in advance!

Restarting the fitbit solved this issue for me. Maybe try restarting the fitbit app, then restart the fitbit and force a sync. Good luck.

Same problem, and I restarted my Fitbit Charge 6 but it still doesn't vibrate for Google Messages.
