Sad to hear that you're having issues syncing your Charge 6.

This is exactly the reason I have become a Charge6 user! Brand new to the world of fitness trackers, I started out with a Garmin45s which was great in terms of tacking and badges etc. but drove me nuts with its slow/no synching. I had a whole performance swapping out the watches, the whole reboot, update apps saga etc etc. I just wanted my watch to work! Anyway, fast forward to Charge6 and at the very start I found it a little slow to synch although not as bad as the Garmin. I've had it a couple of months and now find it pretty reliable and quick but I take a couple of precautions.....(assuming all your app updates are in place) Mainly I check that the battery on both devices is 'reasonable' (mini 15%) before getting annoyed at poor synching but also, I have found that if I do the other aspects of my morning routine (read the news, do Wordle etc)  before asking my Charge to synch, it's much more awake and often synchs without being asked to! Not very scientific but it works for me and helps me to stay sane - good mindfulness, haha! During the day, I find the synching much better but maybe that's because my phone is closer than at night.
