Starting working VS recognizing workout

With the charge 6 it auto recognizes I am jogging or out walking. If I start it on my phone to have my GPS/map view and it auto on the fitbit watche is it going to double count my calories burn,miles I ran? I want to keep my numbers accurate as possible and tonight it shows is did two walks at the same because of it

Hello @Amanda.England and welcome to the Community.  When you start your walk from the mobile app, you are using a feature called MobileRun.  This is actually a rather old feature for older models that don't have an Exercise app or auto recognition on the device.  It can be a little tough to understand, but MobileRun doesn't "know" you are wearing a Fitbit, so the walk gets double counted.

Use one method or the other, but not both.  Auto recognition doesn't give you a map.  If you want a map and all your data, use the Walk shortcut on your Exercise app with GPS on.  The GPS antenna in your phone is more robust than the GPS antenna in your Charge 6.  You get a more accurate map using Dynamic GPS than built in GPS.
