I was specifically wanting to get my daily 10.000 steps, so I looked at my watch like every 30 seconds to see how much is left. I took I look, I was at 9.700 something, literally 5 seconds later the watch tells me I hit my daily goal of 10.000 steps. Did anyone notice something like this too? What could be the cause?

Step counting feature is not rocket science in any case but a roughly estimate unless you only wear the device while actually walking or running. You could achieve 10.000 steps by lying in your bed and moving the hand on which you wear the device up and down for roughly 10.000 times, since that's how steps are actually measured. By hand movement. It is therefore not something you should obsess with too much. I would rather focus on the heart zone minutes. That's a much more accurate and relevant fitness metric. The default recommendation is to aim to achieve at least 150 heart zone minutes a week.
