I have a charge five and my wife has a charge six. We walk the same distance together yet at the end of the walk her phone may show 2.28 miles while mine shows 2.68 miles. There is a corresponding difference in the number of steps we walk with her’s showing considerably less. we walk this route daily with the same results. We both have iPhones.

@Harroll , , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and information.
The distance is measured by multiplying the amount of steps with the stride length.
Even if you and your spouse do the same amount of steps, the distance might vary. This is because the stride length of your spouse is different to yours. ( this depends on the personal info, high).
If you want to compare both Charge 6, you should input the same information for high, weight, age, etc.
You could change the stride length of any of the Charge 6.
Instructions can be read here: Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
