Steps, calories and distance tracked while sleeping using Charge 6

How is it possible that I am walking 1000 steps, while in bed? That is ridiculous. Anyone having this same problem. Fitbit giving you numbers that really are not accurate? How do I fix this?

Hi there, @Ocjoser86 Welcome to the forums!

Thanks for letting me know about this situation of your Charge 6 tracking steps when you sleep.

This can occur depending on the movement while sleeping, the Charge 6 may think you're walking but this depends on how you move and also your heart rate.

I recommend you to restart the Charge 6 and check these tips to get a good night's sleep.

Let me know how it goes once you've done this, please.

Sleepwalking would explain it. 😄

On a serious note. If you go to the Fitbitapp and click on your profile picture on the top right corner, then click Fitbit settings and then App settings you can see an option called Sleep Sensitivity. I have no idea what that does, to be honest, but it is set to normal by default. There is also an option called 'sensitive' you can choose. Again, I am not sure what that does, but maybe you can test it out and see if it makes a difference. It is probably not related though. The procedure described is for the Android, not sure how things work on iPhones.

Thanks, however my heart rate is 48, so I doubt it's sensing that I'm walking or moving around at all while sleeping. I'll try and reset it. It happened again today as I watched a movie relaxing.

Same thing happenned to me this morning, apparently I walked over 29,000 steps in my sleep at midnight. 20 minutes later, that count had jumped to over 57,000 steps. There is no way that any amount of rolling over in my sleep could generate that kind of count. According to fitbit, that is over 17 miles I logged in my sleep between midnight and 1AM. Seriously? updated to include photo

On your app, click on the icon in the upper left hand corner and check connected devices. If your iphone is connected, remove it. This should solve the issue. Found the answer on another thread, it was provided by @JohnnyRow.
