Time zone and sleep tile at odds

When I synced my charge 6 this morning, the time zone had changed to somewhere Europe, not even remotely close to me. My Fitbits have always worked well when time zone was set on automatic. In any case I changed it manually to my current location (Americas/Halifax) and while the clock time is right, the sleep tile is not. It is not quite 7am but the sleep tile claims I slept from 1 to 8:30…rather than 11 to 6:30.  Help…how do I fix this?

I have been having similar issues. I tried to update the app and sleep times still don’t work. Today it says that I slept from 1:53 to 8:25AM… it’s not even 7:30 AM. I tried editing my sleep manually and things get even worse, so I would suggest not to do that. Believe it’s a bug they need to fix. They recently updated the app, hopefully they do again soon, or I’ll buy another type of watch.

Thanks. Good to know I’m not alone. Likely a bug as you say

I’m having the same problem! I think mine is showing UTC time. Phone and watch times are correct, but the sleep, steps, activity and active zone times are all wrong. I’ve tried taking phone and Fitbit app off automatic, putting them all back on auto, syncing, deleting app and reinstalling many times. Nothing works. I’m hoping they get this fixed soon or I’ll strongly consider using warranty for refund and getting a different smart watch.

The issue went away after a couple a days. I suspect a bug has been fixed. Are you still having issues?

Hello @BettyBB

Are you having issues with the time showing correctly in your Fitbit app or Charge 6?

Have you confirmed that your Fitbit app is in the correct time zone?
