Unable to share exercises from App

I am unable to share my activity/exercise on the Fitbit app.

This first started at the end of August.  Will this be resolved with the next software update?

Hello @Sho311 & @tremontkid

There's an update for the Android Fitbit app, ver 4.26.1, that started rolling out today, 25 Sep 2024. I got the update this morning. A few users reported that the iOS Fitbit app update started rolling out yesterday (24 Sep 2024) Although I haven't seen confirmation, I'm hoping that this update fixes the sharing issue that you've been experiencing.

The app updates tend to rollout in waves. If you don't see the update right away, keep checking.

I have the same problem, even after the update I can't share information with friends! and the heart rate chart disappeared! I'm very disappointed!

I’m having the same issue. Did it move to premium or what is going on? All my stuff is up to date. The button to share is there but it won’t do anything when I click it? Please tell me when this will be resolved.

Thanks

Hello @Eduard789061

I know there have been some issues with the Fitbit app when an international user has the language set to their native language. Some international users have reported that they are able to see the missing data when they change the language to English. A few also reported that they still see the information when they switch back to their native language.

Are you able to see your heart rate charts when you change the Fitbit app language to English?

Hello @Kimberly08

As far as I know, the ability to share exercise info does not require a Premium subscription.

I know updates to the Fitbit app, both Android & iOS, rolled out recently. Have you updated your app?

The app updates tend to rollout in waves. If you don't see the update available to you right away, keep checking. It should show up soon.

I changed languages, deleted the app, updated it, but nothing changed! The problem with heart rate goafics started at the beginning of September!

Thank you for letting us know that you are still having problems with your heart rate graph even after all the troubleshooting you did.

At this point, I don't have any more suggestions other than to contact Support and see if they can help you.

Same here, today I am having the same issue. The sharing button on my exercise can’t be clicked. Hope it’s going to be fixed soon!

Here we go again! Just been through the pain of the exercise logging not working correctly. An app update partially fixed that one… now the share facility has gone. Another step closer to Google’s complete destruction of Fitbit 😞

I updated but unfortunately it fixed nothing of the issues with exercise. I've had it after only owning my first fitbit for 3 months. What a waste.

The issue has not been solved on iOS. I feel this platform is going down the drain since google acquired Fitbit. I’ve been a Fitbit users for nearly 10 years and maybe it is time to move on. Perhaps Garmin 🤔.

I’ve just started with the same problem, just out of the blue I can’t share

That's what I'm looking into as well. The only thing giving me any pause is
that it doesn't look like garmin has a food log and that's an important
part of health and fitness... but it'll likely be my choice since I would
never get a pixel watch given what they're doing to fitbit and they use the
same app.
