Unwanted exercises auto recognized after update

After I updated my Charge 6 a few days ago or whenever the latest update came out, it now auto recognizes ellipticals. I’ve had elliptical auto recognition turned OFF in my list of exercises for years now.

I’ve tried switching elliptical auto recognition on and off again, restarting the device, and removing and re-adding it to the app. No change. It’s very irritating when my watch keeps vibrating unnecessarily.

@TheMegan   I don't wear a Charge 6, but your description suggests a different reason.  The Charge 6 has Walk, Run and Bike detect and these features turn on the Exercise app.  Please check the settings in the Elliptical shortcut in your Exercise app.  Did this update add an Elliptical detect?  That would explain the vibrations.  I could be all wrong about this, just a guess.

UPDATE 7/24:  Elliptical auto detection got added in the update.  If you want it off, choose elliptical from your exercises on your Charge 6, swipe up for those settings and toggle Elliptical detect off.
