Had a Charge 5 - Fitbit sent a notice to update. did update Charge 5 completely quit monitoring anything. I buy a new Charge 6. It wanted to update right out of the box. It has never recorded health metrics and the heart rate is not correct. NICE WATCH though. So far zero luck thru support. it been 2 months!!.Also note: if you keep inquiring to support a progress report on a fix, only do it ONCE! Each time you contact them you go tot the bottom of the list. Anybody else has this issue?

Thank you for sharing your experience in regards to the Firmware updates you performed on your Charge 5 and Charge 6.
If your Charge 5 stopped working properly after a firmware update, it may be possible that the process didn't complete properly. This being said, i would suggest to follow the instructions from our help article Why can't I update my Fitbit device?
In regards to the missing Health metrics, you need to meet certain aspects in order to get this data. Take a look at our help article Track your health metrics in the Fitbit app below the section "Troubleshooting health metrics".
On the other hand, I have confirmed that you got in contact with our tech support team. My best advice is that you keep the communication with them. They count with more resources to continue assisting you.
