I had chemo last year and I’m still recovering from the chemo induced fatigue. Because of that, it takes next to nothing for my heart rate to go up enough to get active zone minutes. Folding the laundry. Walking slowly downstairs. It doesn’t feel like I’m working or getting my heart rate up, but my FitBit thinks I am.
I get PT twice a week. Some of the exercises definitely elevate my heart rate. I was lying on the table today catching my breath and feeling my heart pounding from one exercise. But when I look at my FitBit after PT to see if it recorded any active zone minutes, nothing. I’m looking at the app right now. For today, it shows 1 minute of moderate activity when I was walking down the stairs to get in the car to go to PT and the next entry is 3 minutes of moderate activity when I was leaving PT.
Weird. Kind of annoying.
Any thoughts?

Hello @migashi1 and welcome to the Community. Active zone minutes are heart rate based, but I strongly believe that you must have a normal heart rate response to activity for them to be meaningful. My background is physiology, so I think I have a good background to answer. My honest opinion is that you should turn off AZM measurements and track your activity by how you feel.

Fitbit help is worthless for help. Bought Charge 6 as my 5 broke. First issue was having to switch to google. Biggest problem is I have no zone minutes at all now. Usually at 220 minutes to 240 minutes on Saturday and Sunday as I’m playing golf all day. Get the 6 and nothing. No cardio mode, peak or fat burn. Heart rate gets up there but this piece of junk isn’t the same. I’m fed up
