Will Charge 6 Solve Charge 4 & 5 Data Reporting Problems

I have a Charge 4 and am thinking about upgrading to a Charge 6.

When I originally got my Charge 4, it functioned perfectly, and gave me readings for all the measurements it was advertised to collect and report.  After a year or so, it lost its ability to report sleep stages and their durations, a sleep score, and breathing rate and heart rate variability (HRV) health metrics.  I contacted Fitbit and ultimately was sent a replacement Charge 4 which had the same problems.  I spent hours talking to Fitbit support staff and seeking a solution to these problems in Fitbit forums.  I tried numerous suggested possible solutions, every one to no avail.

When the Charge 5 was released, I bought one, used it for a few weeks, and found it had the same problems I had been encountering with my Charge 4.  I returned the Charge 5 to the retailer I had bought it from, got a refund, and resumed using my Charge 4.

My question is this.  Has anyone encountered similar problems and found a solution to them by upgrading to a Charge 6?

Note that I have atrial fibrillation (afib), that my resting heart rate averages 48, and that my Charge 4 reports all my afib incidents that it detects.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @Bmoore090142 - if you have been having difficulties in the last 4 months then it may simply be due to the new V4 Fitbit App if you are using that. Have a look in the forums about that

A Charge 6 requires a Google account to setup which may bring other issues if you have friends for example.
