My research is showing conflicting answers about whether I can get a new Charge 6 and have it work with my Galaxy S9 phone running Android 10. Anyone know for sure before I buy one?

I appreciate your message regarding an Android phone running Android 10 version and its compatibility with the Fitbit app.
As @LZeeW explained, you need to run the Fitbit app with Android 11 or higher, as explained here: Android Fitbit app 4.43 is now available - 05/20/2025.
