Hi,
Will there be a Charge 7 in Sep?
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
@LovetoSwim Generally, Fitbit releases new models on a two year cycle. The Charge 5 came out in 2021 and the 6 in 2023. So I don't expect a Charge 7 this year, unless there is an epic change. Yes, there was one year between the Charge 4 and 5. The color screen seems like an epic enough change to account for the one year cycle.
When a new model comes out in September, we often see serious rumors by the end of August.

Hello @Jooosh123
We haven't heard any information about a Charge 7.
Tech sites like Android Police, Android Authority, and 9to5 Google often report on "leaked" info. So, I would follow those sites to find out if/when there will be a Charge 7 as well as what features it will have.

Hello @Frosby
Since the 2024 Made by Google event occurred in August and there was no announcement of a Charge 7, there's likely no new Charge models this year.

The Fitbit Charge 6 has solidified itself as a top-tier fitness tracker, thanks to the return of the side button and the integration of Google apps. But now, all eyes are on the next big thing—the Fitbit Charge 7 . While there are no official leaks yet, rumors suggest a potential September 2024 launch. If this timeline holds, Fitbit is accelerating its release cycle compared to previous models.
Hello @Frosby
We haven't heard any word on a Charge 7 yet.
You might want to keep a watch on tech news sites, like Android Authority or 9to5 Google, for any word on new Fitbits being released this year. Those sites often get leaks of new Google products before we do.

Hello @Kiam
Since there were no new Fitbit devices announced at the recent Made By Google event (20 Aug 2025), I don't expect there will be a Charge 7 released this year.
