Won’t install

I set up my charge 6 yesterday. It seems to sync with my phone okay and has counted my steps and sleep, but I still keep repeatedly (literally every few minutes) getting an error message on my phone that says ‘We were unable to update/install one or more apps. Please try again’ 
i have no idea what to do. I wonder if that’s why the ecg app doesn’t work - it just says can’t find ohone (I have no idea which apps apparently can’t install) 
This was an expensive piece of kit and I expect it to work. 
can anyone help?

Is the Fitbit app on the phone itself updated?  Also, are you running iOS or Android?  On Android, the phone needs to be running on OS 8 or higher, and I think for iOS it needs to be more like 15 or higher.

Also, please check the phone for system updates.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, somI assume it’s up to date

Which app are you trying to install? 

Have you moved the Fitbit app to the background. 

Since you are an iOS user, have you checked the IOS board, or the App Gallery board ?
