I saw Dr. Fuhrman talking about how eating fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, and such help to significantly improve life style and fight cancer.
Saw it advertised on Kelly and Michael with Dr. Fuhrman.
Eat to Live. Revised Ed Jan 5 2011, $12.54 paperback Kindle $2.24
Lot's of great guidance on more of what Beth and I are already doing.
A perfect addition to kitchen books....

My problem when looking for great low fat, low cal. recipes is that I don't eat chicken or turkey! A lot of the recipes substitute one of them for other meat to make a low fat and/or low cal meal. Any suggestions. Thanks

The "Eat To Live" diet does not use chicken or turkey or fish in general. You get your protein and you iron and other necessities from the vegetables and beans. It works well for keeping cholesterol low, losing weight, managing diabetes, and on and on.
I was put on it for clogged arteries; it's working or so the tests say.

Great plan. I did this for 30 days and lost 20 lbs. I'm still vegetarian because of Dr. Fuhrman. And, my triglycerides don't even show up in lab tests.
