If someone sends me a friend request, I should be able to see their profile

Someone sent me a friend request.  When I went to look at their profile it said "You must be friends with this person to see their about me".  Given they had made the request, I should be able to view their profile so I can see who they are.  Fair enough information isn't available to just anyone, but if they've made the request, they are saying they want me to connect with them and see all their info, so I should be able to do that to confirm that's what I want as well.

Due to privacy issues, I'm not sure what Fitbit can do. What I do is see how active the person is on the forums. If they never post, I'm a bit more skeptical. Should they seem to post to random threads, not stating which Fitbit they have, I have to wonder why they're around. It's always good to be safe.

Due to the new spam problem with Fitbit, I suggest when someone sends a friends request, the destination should be able to fully see the profile of those making the request. "You must be friends with this person to see their About Me." means I have zero idea if the nebulous name is an actual friend or not.
