Average Heart Rate during workout

During workouts it would be nice if one of the stats displayed could be your average heart rate during the workout.

I would love the same for the Charge 2

Hi Fitbit team,

As stated by Evancross, it would be very useful if you could show the average HR in the stats DURING the workout, not just after stopping the workout. I have a Charge 2 and find this stats to be missing to really give me an idea of how my workout is going.

When looking at your Activity History list it would be great to add a column of AVG HEART RATE.  It calculates your avg. heart rate for the workout sessions but when looking at the activity history list it is not listed, it only lists...steps, distance, duration, and calories.  Many buy and wear fitbit just for heart rate calcs and are not at all interested in steps or calories..

I was looking for this today.

When I look at an individual activity it shows the avg bpm. However, the Activity History page doesn't show it:

so the data is already being collected. It just has to be displayed.

So much heart rate data is collected on fitbits that track heart rate, I would like to see more of that data easily visible in the mobile app, specifically the average heart rate. Average heart rate is just an important as resting heart rate, yet there is no way to currently view average heart rate.

I propose one of these two options be integrated into the fitbit app to provide users with additional easy to view heart rate data.

1. An option to have either the resting heart rate or average heart rate displayed on the main page of the app in the heart rate section.

or

2. A section within the heart rate data that shows you your resting heart rate, similar to the way the resting heart rate is graphed in this section.

No additional data needs to be collected for this type of information to become available to fitbit users, the algorithms and coding are the only things that need to be created to make this valuable information available in the app.

While I can check my heart rate and pace and even average pace during a run, I can only get the stats for my average heart rate during the run once my run is over.

It would be great if I could check my avg heart rate during the run so that I'd know whether to push harder or ease up a bit in order to meet my goals.

Just wanted to ask if it would be possible to add a function to the heart rate monitoring fitbits to display the average heart rate of your workout during the workout? The data is there already after the workout but if I see for example that my average HR during my workout is 153 and I want to get it to 156 I’m currently only able to see it once I end my workout. If I could see it leading up to the end of my workout I would be able to push to increase my HR and get my target HR before the workout concludes.
Thanks

I agree 100%.  Average HR during exercise please.

Whole heartedly agree! This feature is a total no brainer and long overdue. I see in the latest update for my Charge 2, I now have a game on my watch.

How many users posted that as a required feature update?

Fitbit? Are you actually listening to your customers or are you just on your own mission doing what you feel like?

How many development hours would average Heart rate while exercising take? How many hours did you waste making a game no one will use?

The ability to see your average heart rate for the current workout on your charge 2 will be very useful. Some health schemes offer special rewards based on maintaining a specified heart rate of a certain time period.

Please can you add the current average heart rate to the exercise app. Depending on my average heart rate determines how long I do cardio. If i get my heartrate average heart rate above 80% of my max then i do half an hour else I do an hour and its often difficult to guess if I managed to get over 80% or not.

Having a live average like you have the average pace would be useful

Hi Fitbit team,

I have a Fitbit Versa, but i've seen a very useful feature on another manufacturers device which i hope you can add to Fitbit.

It is very useful to be able to see your average Heart rate reading for the duration of the exercise.

Its nice to have the current reading too, but sometimes you want to maintain an average heart rate above for example 150.

There is no way of knowing ones average heart rate during the workout, only at the end once the workout has ended.

Please please add this feature on the Versa, it will be very useful to me and i'm certain to many others.

And keep up the great work, i love my Versa

Give an option to add average heart rate during an exercise. So to be clear, not the current heart rate, but the average heart rate during the exercise.

In addition to Distance, pace, calories burned, I would like to know my average heart rate while walking/running.
