An invite cannot be sent to this email

My daughter is trying to add her friend to her contacts. Her friend has a valid Gmail address and has the app. When she tries to add her email she gets the error in the title. What can we do?

Because I think it has to be an adult account.  It's stupid and I hate all of the restrictions they put on this device.

Ok, I'm returning the watch then. Everyone should return this watch until it has the featured the website advertises.

True. I would hope that we can eventually add "approved" child gmail accounts. My oldest child cannot message her sister (with an Ace LTE) because she cannot be added to the app. If we approve the app for the oldest child using Family Link, it would be great if she could have the ability to call/messager her younger sister in times of need.

This is ridiculous. We just got one for our son and ran into the same issue. What's the point of up to 20 if he can only talk to adults and not even to his own siblings??? I hope this changes because it is just dumb.
