Theater Mode

Hi.  Anyone knows how to disable theater mode? Wanted to wake watch up by tilt but grey out due to theater mode being on. Thanks

Hello @MacMac and welcome back to the Community.  I know that Apple Watches have a theater mode.  It is similar to Fitbit's sleep mode (screen wake with wrist movement is disabled).  I've gone through all my screens and don't see it.  There are no results for this feature in the Fitbit Ace LTE Help articles.

Can you ask your question a different way and/or include a photo of where you see this?

Be sure the watch is updated to the latest version. Push and hold the top button, settings, scroll down to system, system updates

Yes it’s up to date and went through all the settings and can’t find theater mode so I can disable it.

Yes very odd if I can’t disable it so I can enable the touch screen to wake and tilt to wake feature.

Have you given the watch a reboot lately? See if that helps.

Yes.  Rebooted and even did a full reset.

@MacMac   Can you please add some photos and/or screenshots?  Just to let you know what is going on behind the scenes, two Product Experts and two experienced users are trying to reproduce your issue.  It will really help if we can see what you see.

Do you have developer mode enabled in the family link app? Is developer mode enabled on the watch in settings?

@MacMac   I'm trying to get an answer for you through an internal Fitbit channel.  This could take a little while.

No.  I never enabled it and can’t find it on watch nor family link app.  Appreciate everyone’s help

Confirming you did a full factory reset of the watch? Do it again and also clear the app cache and data for the ace app on your phone.

Do you have a case ID or did you contact support about the issue?

@MacMac   Please file a report using this Ace LTE Help page, if you haven't already done so.  It is believed your device has a software issue.  You should get a case ID.  This will help you get the replacement you need.
