Fitbit Ace LTE Notifications

I have set up the Ace LTE for my child but I don’t seem to get any sort of notifications on my phone when she sends me a message.  Unless I just happen to be inside the APP there is no notification on my phone to tell me a message is sitting there. No pop-up on the icon showing a missed call/message no sound. How do I turn this on?

Have you had a chance to check the settings for the Fitbit Ace app on your phone to see if notifications are turned on?

Out of curiosity, what phone are you using?

iPhone 12 Max, I have read a few conflicting comments saying that if the watch is set up for your kid and not yourself then it is not possible to get alerts. Which if that is the case is another reason to be disappointed because I should know ASAP when my child is trying to reach me which is why I’m trying to figure this out! Overall I have not been real happy with my purchase or the tech help that is offered.
