Currently, only steps tracked by your phone are counted towards the Family Quest.
Although we've heard that there are plans to include steps from a Fitbit device, that hasn't been implemented yet to my knowledge. So far, I haven't heard any updates on this feature.

Best AnswerHi, I'm referring to the steps tracked by my phone. The latest app update specifically says that it uses steps tracked from Health Connect. This seems to be a bug because Health Connect shows more than triple the amount of steps counted. Health Connect itself doesn't know whether it's coming from the phone or not since it's just a database.
