Health Connect Steps Not Working

Under the family quest for January it says I have 26k steps, however when I look at my phone's health connect data it shows about 50K. The fitbit app says it's connected to health connect.

Currently, only steps tracked by your phone are counted towards the Family Quest.

Although we've heard that there are plans to include steps from a Fitbit device, that hasn't been implemented yet to my knowledge. So far, I haven't heard any updates on this feature.

Hi, I'm referring to the steps tracked by my phone. The latest app update specifically says that it uses steps tracked from Health Connect. This seems to be a bug because Health Connect shows more than triple the amount of steps counted. Health Connect itself doesn't know whether it's coming from the phone or not since it's just a database.

Thanks for the clarification. It does sound like there's a bug. 

Please submit a Issue report using the Ace LTE app:

  • Tap your picture in the upper right of the Ace app
  • Tap Report issue in the menu that opens. If you don't see Report issue, tap Feedback
  • Complete the prompt and submit

The Issue and Feedback reports are received by the team for review.
