School Mode not working

I know other people have posted about this but I didn't see a solution to it. I just bought this for my son, set it up, got the software fully updated. I set up the school mode on the app to every day from 12:00 am til 11:59pm (so essentially 24/7, because that's how I want to set it up). The watch receives a notification that a parent set up school mode but the watch does not in fact enter school mode. Games and everything else can be accessed. Any ideas why? I even tried changing the times in case that was the problem but it still didn't work. I also tried setting the school times through Family link app, also no help.

I should also mention, it's the weekend, but I should be able to set up school mode for the weekend. It's an option so I don't know why it would just ignore my settings because it's the weekend.

Nevermind, woke up this morning and school mode was on. So if you just bought this watch and set it up, school mode may not work right away but wait til the next day.
