Turn messaging completely off during school time

I know that notifications are silenced during School Time, but I'd like to be able to turn off access to messaging entirely during school time. I need to be able to demonstrate to the school that messaging can be completely blocked -  the same way the games are - during School Time, or they can't have the watch in class. 

My child's school policy on smartwatches is basically "hard no." So the current School Time options / functionality don't allow it to conform to the policy. 

If there were more flexibility in what features get "blocked" and what features get "silenced" it would allow parents to tailor their experience to meet their own school rules. 

Maybe add an "emergency" button / option where I child can enter a PIN or something in order to turn it back on.

I found 2 feature requests in the Product Feedback forum that are similar to the one you're suggesting:

• Distraction free mode (<-- click link)
• Block contacts from calling/messaging during School time (<-- click link)

Please check these out. Add your vote and comments if you think the feature requests meet your criteria. If they don't, you can create and submit a feature request in the Product Feedback forum. I understand the developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested for potential future implementation.
