Hello @brfo and welcome to the Community.  This forum is for questions and issues with the Ace LTE, a child's device.  Unfortunately, there really isn't a better forum for this topic on this site.  There have been very strong opinions about many Fitbit/Google topics ever since the sale was complete in 2021.  Likewise, there are many strong opinions, on both sides, ever since Google Accounts were introduced.  Some users have been waiting for the deadline announcement and now we have it.

I'm happy to move your post to a different forum, if you can find one that seems right for this topic.
