App switching from Exercise to Starbucks

I was using the Exercise app to track my walk to a Starbucks and couldn’t figure out how to switch to the Starbucks app (to pay for my coffee order) without finishing my exercise and closing that app.

The long press on the upper right button only switches to the music app. Ideas?\

From app development forum I read that only 1 app a time. So that means you have to exit Exercise app before launching Starbucks app.

Someone else posted its possible to use Fitbit Pay without exiting an app, so at this time there is limited multitasking and lets hope a future Ionic update allows for exercise app being paused if you want to use Starbucks app.

They key to making this work is to let the Ionic auto-detect the walk, instead of using the exercise app.

When an activity is auto-detected, the tracking of it happens in the background. You can run any app you want while this is going on.
