I'm having troubles getting the Nest app to work on my Fitbit Ionic.

I have installed the Nest app on my Ionic, but when I open the app it always show me the notification below.

Connect to Nest

Go to Nest Settings in the App Gallery to connect to your thermostat

On the link below some screenshots of the settings in my Fitbit & Nest app.

Welcome on board @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you around here! Thanks for the details provided. Smiley Very Happy

Note that the Fitbit mobile app needs to be running or in the background, so the Nest app can connect to the Internet. Have you checked this?

  1. In order for apps to access the internet, your phone must be nearby with the Fitbit app running in the background and Bluetooth turned on. Many apps require internet access, such as Nest, Clue, Uber, The New York Times, Walgreens, Yelp, Surfline, and Flipboard.
  2. Some apps, such as Weather, require All-Day Sync to be turned on for data to be sent from the Fitbit app to your watch:
    1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon > your device image.
    2. Find the option to turn on All-Day Sync.
  3. Check if the app has a pending update. For instructions, see How do I install and manage apps on my Fitbit watch?
  4. Turning off app permissions can cause the app to stop functioning. Check that all permissions are turned on:
    1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon > your device image.
    2. Tap or click Apps.
    3. In the list of apps installed on your watch, find the app whose permissions you want to change. You may have to scroll down to see some apps. Tap or click the name of the app.
    4. Tap or click Permissions.
    5. If any permissions are turned off, turn them on. Note that some permissions can cause your phone to use more data.
    6. Tap or click Save to save your changes.
  5. Your watch must be connected to Wi-Fi in order for some larger apps and clock faces to install or update. For instructions on connecting your watch to Wi-Fi, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?

Additionally, I'd recommend restarting your Ionic by following these steps

I'll be around if you need further help!

I ran into the same problem and all the instructions provided above were already set correctly.  What worked was logging out of my account and then logging back in again:

  1. Open Fitbit app on your phone
  2. Click the watch icon on the top left corner of app
  3. Click Apps
  4. Click Nest
  5. Click Settings
  6. Click Logout
  7. Log back in again

I already performed the steps you described.

I even removed the app, reinstalled and configured it.

Now when I open the app on my watch, it's says Loading and after a minute I receive a bluetooth error.

Even when my BT is on and it even synced my Ionic and phone a couple of minutes before.

Same issue for me... Fitbit support wasn't helpful at all...

Kind of annoying that there's literally no support/help for this and the response I get from them is "well, you can Google it."

I followed pY6893t's step, logout then login, turn off Bluetooth then turn on, logout then login...then NEST work well.
