Clock Faces wont download on Versa 2

I recently got a versa 2, the watch shows as connected via blue tooth to my phone with the fitbit app, lastest version as of couple days ago.  Also the wifi shows connected.   

 

I am unable to download anything no apps no clock faces.  As soon as i try all i get is a white screen with a circle in the middle spinning, and it just stays like that indefinately, left it for hours same thing when i returned still spinning wheel ??

 

Rebooted phone, re-install app 2x now, still exact same issue.  It simple will not download anything.  Stuck at the white blank screen with the spinning wheel in the middle, nothing happening no progress, no error message, nothing at all.  Exit back out, try again  dozens and dozens of times,  rebooted many times, restart / re-install app many times, always this exact same thing happens when i try to download anything.

 

The watch shows its connected at home, shows the blue tooth is on and paired, shows thru the app the wi-fi is connected as well.  But the watch itself simply will not connect to it to download anything at all.

 

Ive checked everything possible, checked the trouble shooting guides, but no offer help for the white screen spinning wheel, stuck no downloads happen issue.  When the blue tooth and wi-fi within the App both show connected properly on my phone.

 

Just got this watch if it cant download, then ill have to return it, get another brand if fitbit watches dont work on cell phone, that other watches of similar types, ive used on the phone with ZERO issues at all like this.  this watch offerned more stuff then other brands but at least they worked correctly.

Try restarting your Fitbit mobile app and fitbit device and then put your fitbit device on charger and then try to install the app. Make sure its connected to wifi while installing.

I found out that my IOS is not running a new enough update, and my device is to old.

Unfortunately I need a new phone.
