Hi - I am looking for a way to have my Versa 3 buzz me when I am out of a certain pace range and bought the app Run Dial. Is this the best app to use for my purpose? How can I make the two functions work at the same time during e.g. a race (running)?

Hello @EevaE and welcome to the Community. The Exercise app on a Fitbit must run in the foreground. I don't have a clue how you can possibly use both apps. The App Gallery page says that the developer's email is available. Maybe the developer can tell you.
This situation looks just like the issue with the Exercise app and the C25k app. There is no way to use both at the same time.

Thank you Laurie! Does FitBit itself have a function to set a pace range and allert you should you be out of it?
It looks like you are a marathon runner - do you know how the pace dimension work in the Exercise Running on Versa 3? Does 'Average Pace' show your avg pace from the start of the exercise? What time frame is used as base for dimension 'Pace'?
Thank you in advance

@EevaE I'm sorry, but that feature isn't available in any Fitbit model. When I look at my real time stats during a walk/run, I have always taken the average pace to be from the start of the exercise. I'm not sure what you mean by base for dimension in the pace stat.
As for the Marathon Runner under my screen name, Fitbit assigns Community Ranks based on involvement in the Community. For me, that was in an earlier lifetime. If I try to call myself a marathon runner now, my children will glare at me and say something like, "Yeah, when I was in grade school."

Thank you for your insight! I will then also use avg pace only, might be the easiest way to reach my targeted time set for my next race
