On December 5th, 2017, Fitbit shared a blog post featuring new and upcoming apps on the Fitbit Ionic. These included The New York Times, Surfline, Walgreens, Nest, and Uber among others. I think that all (or nearly all) of the apps except the Uber app have already been released. Does anyone know when Ionic users can expect this app? It would be awesome to call for rides on the Ionic.

Not sure if it was the reason, but a bunch of people boycotted "Uber" for "Lyft" a while back.

It'll vary on region, but where I am, while many drivers now drive for both, a few years back I'd get some incredibly sketchy and/or unsafe drivers with Uber. That's why I had switched to Lyft.

 

That said, I'd still love to get that uber app on the ionic because it is still good in a pinch.

FYI the Uber app (built by Fitbit) is now available for the Ionic/Versa in the Fitbit App Gallery.
