Google Wallet not working

Hello. I’m in the UK and I was excited when google wallet was introduced as practically no UK banks supported Fitbit pay. Well, I’ve tried in vain setting it up to no success. I’ve had hundreds of errors, called my banks multiple times and no one knows what’s happened. Is anyone else having issues?

Thanks for contacting your bank and trying to set up your cards on the Fitbit app prior to posting. I understand how frustrating this has been and let me help you with this matter. To look into this, may I know what error message was displayed during the process? If possible, take a screenshot and attach it to your reply as this will help me to investigate on my end

In the meantime, let me recommend the following steps:

  1. Forget your Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone
  3. Restart your Fitbit device to refresh its performance
  4. Open the Fitbit app and down on the screen to force a manual sync
  5. Try setting up your cards one more time with the instructions described here

I’ve also got an error saying my card has been saved but is unable to be used for payments. I’ve called all my banks that I’ve tried, they all can’t find anything on their end
