Leaderboard won't load on Versa 2

I just got the versa 2 a week ago. It updated everything once I set it all up. I am having an issue with leaderboard. It has never worked. Only says loading with the tip about cheering and taunting. I saw the previous posts about it doing the same thing and it said it was resolved by an update. All my apps and watch are updated. I’ve also restarted the phone and the watch after uninstalling and reinstalled to get the same outcome. Any ideas?

Thanks for every step tried to get the apps of your Versa 2 working, as well for keeping everything updated. While this shouldn't happen, let's give a try to the following steps:

1. On the Fitbit app, tap your profile icon > Versa 2 > Apps.
2. Look for the Leaderboard app and tap on Remove.
3. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and forget the Versa 2 from the list.
4. Reboot your phone.
5. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync. You'll be prompted with a Bluetooth pair authorization, tap pair.
6. Install the Leaderboard app back on your watch and try using it.

Hi Amy, Lizzy,

Tried leaderboard several times and it never worked. 
Tried again tonight.
says: loading... 
of course I have a lot of friends, but more than 6 minutes? 
Luckily all other app have no problem communicating.

Didn't work on the Versa either. Never found a solution. I’m done with it.
