Missing customization options available in the Gallery?

I use my Fitbit primarily for the accuracy of the step counter. However, it's getting harder and harder to see the steps. Pressing the screen to wake if you press one too many times, the steps toggled away.
Am I the only person that would do without the clock/time altogether just for the steps to be front and center in BOLD??
You can customize exercise shortcuts but not what's primarily on your screen:(

Hi @SP1568 - there are many clock faces in the Fitbit Gallery 

There must be one that is more suited to your requirements.

For the Fitbit 5 a clock option is not available for an ALWAYS ON Stat for steps! Steps are switchable. I would like the steps to take up the entire screen like time does. I do not want time or any other stat as a primary option. Does this make sense? It's not a big ask, just 1 stat "steps" as the primary on the screen. Since it's not available, can you submit this ask to someone that can make it happen?

@Guy_ , @SP1568  I guess Charge 5 has no Gallery. And there will be no gallery. And there are many complaints about the lay-out of Charge 5, but.....
