My Photo App Only Storing 12 Photos

I downloaded  the My Photo's app off the Fitbit app. I purchased it after the free trial. I can't download more than 12 photos onto it, even though it states approx 50 can be. I've contacted the developer with no success. Anyone else have this app and any ideas how to get more photos on it please?

I can see in the app's description that the storage amount will depend on the file sizes. Can you double check if the photos you have downloaded and the ones you are trying to download are not big files? 

Hopefully, the developer will reply to your inquiry soon with some important information. Something you can try in the meantime if it keeps doing the same is uninstalling it and then installing it back again. That usually helps if it is the app that is not working properly.

Would you find sharing the solution provided by the developer? That way, other users may benefit from it if they happen to experience something similar. We can then mark that response as an accepted solution for it to be found easier.

I had to make sure the app was open on my watch all the time I was
uploading photo's. I've noticed this now on other apps now, if anything
needed changing, app has to be open on the watch as well as phone. Probably
something everyone knew anyway, but I didn't.
