Pandora App "Check Subscription" Message on Watch

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I 'm receiving the message "There is a problem with your Pandora subscription. Check Pandora settings in fitbit mobile app."

Pandora shows me being on Pandora Plus. What do I need to do to get Pandora to play on my fitbit Ionic again?

Have you read the setup instructions.

How do I listen to Pandora stations on my Fitbit watch?

Download your most-played Pandora stations or popular curated Workout stations directly to your watch.

Your error message is asking you to check the Pandora settings on the Fitbit app, not the Pandora settings on Pandora.
My guess is that the Pandora app on the ionic doesn't have permission to access Pandora.

@goldenbrooks Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with the Pandora app.

Please follow @Rich_Laue suggestion to check if the app permissions are on. To do this:

  • From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon > your device image.
  • Tap or click Apps.
  • In the list of apps installed on your watch, find the app whose permissions you want to change. You may have to scroll down to see some apps. Tap or click the name of the app.
  • Tap or click Permissions.
  • If any permissions are turned off, turn them on. Note that some permissions can cause your phone to use more data.
  • Tap or click Save to save your changes.

Hope this helps. Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I don't have a permissions option when I go to the app on my Versa.  My phone shows that it is syncing but the watch is showing the I need to check my Pandora subscription which I have done. I have also restarted the watch several time but I still can get it to work.

Where you able to log into your Pandora account, through the Fitbit app?

It looks like I’m into the Pandora app in Fitbit.  I can see the stations I listen to.  I still get the same message on the watch about my pandora subscription.  I have restarted my watch and tried to sync while in the charger.

In addition there Help is not helpful. I see no step-by-step instructions on how to set up Pandora properly.

Hello @Carylinn let's plug the tracker on so that it is charging so we can setup WiFi.

  1. In the Fitbit app
  2. tap your profile picture >
  3. Tap your tracker
  4. Tap Wi-Fi Settings.
  5. Tap Add Network and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your watch

Now let's setup Pandora.

  1. Go back to your tracker settings.
  2. Media > Pandora.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to log into your Pandora account. If you don’t have a paid Pandora subscription, upgrade your existing account or create a new account and then return to the Fitbit app to complete the setup.
  4. In the Fitbit app, choose to auto-sync your 3 most-played Pandora stations or manually select up to 3 Workout stations. If you have Thumbprint Radio on your Pandora account, it also downloads to your watch regardless of which option you choose.

I appreciate your help but my device will not connect. The message states that there is a problem with my subscription. I’ve followed all the instructions but can’t get the message to go away.
