Sense 2 third party app updates

Is there anything in the pipeline for 3rd party apps for the sense 2 does anybody know? Or is development focused on pixel watch now? I am looking to get a new FitBit, and it seems like there is not much point in getting the Sense 2 over the Sense for most use cases

Every indication seems to be that the sense 2 isn't getting 3rd party apps.  Plus Google Wallet doesnt work on the Sense 2 or Versa 4 for most people ... So I'd say, if you want a smartwatch, look elsewhere.

Hi @SunsetRunner - when the Sense 2 and Versa 4 watches were announced the additional apps was removed from the specifications.

Thses watches have a new UI. It may be that it is simplified to exclude apps as a new direction.

There may be a Clocks tile coming to enable changing clock faces on the watch (currently can only be done using the phone).

So many things have been removed or simplified that the Sense is a better experience. Even other brands depending on your needs.

I can verify this is the case.  My original Sense 2 worked fine with Google pay... After I got a replacement due to the sensor/wear issue, pay no longer worked.

I've been going around in circles with Support for the past 3 months and still don't have google/pay working.   Support keeps saying they're working on it, but based on all the posts here, I wouldn't hold my breath for a fix.
