Tried to click install, it asks for both the app and watch to be updated and they have the latest update. Why won’t it let me install Spotify?

Are you trying to do this on a new Charge 4? If so, it's a known issue. Have a look at the following thread that has updates from Fitbit: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-4/Spotify-and-or-Clockfaces-not-compatible-with-device-Charge...

I've seen other posts of this on the Versa board @blenk2610 you may want to look there for a resolution.
