Strava update to use GPS

Could Strava just use the GPS on the device, like the Ionic, which is standalone instead of creating a run on fitbit and then having it sync to like 4 before I actually did the exercise? It would be much appreciated by the runners to have Strava work smoother and be improved.

The Strava app on the ionic is a simple dashboard for your Strands account and displays your Strava data
