I live near a beautiful beach and walk in the water daily. My versalite will not track my steps while walking in the water . Why ?????? I bought it for the reason of recording all my daily steps.

It detects steps by the swinging of your arms.  You must not be swinging your arms while in the water.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
