Versa 2 showing "Go to Strava settings and log in"

Hi guys, 

I cannot get my Strava app to work. 

- I have connected my Fitbit and Strava properly (in the Fitbit app, on Strava and in the Strava app)

- Granted access to the app (through apps --> Strava  --> settings)

- Workouts are uploaded to Strava

However, I would like to use the app on my watch as well. 

Still it says "go to strava settings on your fitbit mobile app to log in".

Any thoughts?

Hi. I’ve just set up my new Fitbit Versa 2 and the only thing I’ll really be using it for is strava , however I can’t seem to get strava to link with my Fitbit. I’ve logged in to both accounts as prompted, I’ve authorized the account, I’ve been into settings on strava account and added my Fitbit as new device yet despite all of this, when I click the strava icon on watch it keeps saying ‘Go to Strava settings on your Fitbit mobile app to log in’ IVE DONE THIS!! I’ve also deleted app, logged out logged back in re-authourised, disconnected, reconnected to strava account. I don’t know what else to do???? So frustrated because if I can’t use strava on this watch it’s next to useless to me as I work in a hospital and I’m not allowed to wear a wrist watch I only use for running. Please please please help 😩😩😩

I've moved your post to this board because it's more related to the topic. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. 

@hughesypoos Welcome to the Community. I've merged your post here because you're experiencing the same difficulty. 

I would like you to follow this troubleshooting: 

- Verify your app is set up correctly 

- Once you've linked them, sync your Versa 2 

- If you're still seeing "go to the app and link" please restart your watch 

- Leave the Fitbit app running in the background of your phone

If your asking about the Strava app on your watch, this is a dashboard that needs to log into your Strava account. 

As requested, open the Fitbit app on the phone

Tap the account

Tap your tracker

Tap apps

Find Strava

Tap the cog to the right

Log into Strava.

This does not work.  The Fitbit app must have been updated, as there is no "Apps" to tap, no Strava, and no cog.   Extremely frustrating.

The Strava app has been removed from the Versa line 

You really don't want to reopen a thread based on an app version that is 2 years old. 

For the latest fitbit app

• Tap the top left on the home screen
• Tap your tracker
• Tap the Galkery
• Tap Clocks or Apps
• Tap the App you are interested in
• Tap settings.

If this is the only best chain of communication in 2 hours then yes i want it reopened and this feedback taken on board.
Add GPS or include connection to apps who can because it's basic.
